1. Blockchain Innovation Lab
This lab has currently being deployed except for the network connectivity which will be setup by Ooredoo and is expected to be ready in November.
A blockchain network will be deployed and implemented at the lab. The BC network will be mainly used for research and for educating QU students.
The lab will also be used for bigdata mining and analytics and will be open for students and entrepreneurs upon request. Students learning will be enhanced with this project as it provides a platform for cutting edge technology and thus developing Qatar’s youth for a digital future. The lab will also enable faculty members to conduct their much-needed research in blockchain technology and ease up the implementation of digital transformation.
2. Lego Serious Play (LSP) Ideation Lab
This lab is open to students, entrepreneurs and government to use a gamified and creative-thinking environment to facilitate innovations and communicate novel ideas.
